ILE After-Hours Program Registration 2023-2024

International Language Instructors' Appreciation Day

In the after-hours delivery model, the International Languages Elementary (ILE) program is offered by the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) outside of regular school hours.

The program runs for 30 sessions of 2.5 hours each. An after-hours class may be established where there is a minimum of 25 pre-registered students from any division in any given language.

This delivery model provides students with the opportunity to develop their first language, to deepen their cultural awareness, to facilitate communication with family and community, and strengthen their self-esteem and self-image.

The program also provides parents and communities of the target language with greater opportunities to engage in cultural activities.

Classes for the ILE 2023-2024 program start on October 14, 2023.
